I was reading one article about toddler's development at 13th months. It says that parents must start to discipline their toddler as this is the time when the tantrum throwing can be observed. Of course just like any articles, punishment is not the solution, Explanation and Reasoning WITH PATIENCE is required.
Easier said than done as I did try to emulate what was being widely advocated in books. However, many times before I could explain/reason to Jovan I have to act swiftly to prevent mishap. If you are my neighbour you will hear more of Clairy and Me screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOO.....Mummy/Daddy said Nooooooooo....
